Penny has loved photography since she was a little girl and often dreamed of one day opening a studio.  Her first camera, received as a Christmas gift at around age 10, was a 110 point-and-shoot that still used the old-fashioned flash bars. 

Many cameras later in 2004, Penny's career began as photos of her first daughter and a playmate received rave reviews, producing a list of photo shoot requests.  Penny specializes in high school seniors and athletes, but has also photographed newborns, families, and professionals.  She has also taught classes to middle school and high school students on digital photography techniques.  Her favorite part of being a photographer is the moment when a photo, forever freezing a special moment, creates an emotional response from the viewer.  

Penny is married to Jamie and is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters.  She also writes for a magazine and serves as the librarian at her daughters' school.
